RUIN

 It is an attempt of the author to analyze the events of the first period of Albanian transition 1991-1994 in a kaleidoscopic way. Linked to the political problems, are combined the social problems of Albanian society, the moral of the society in transition, its deep roots in the problems of the past and the first attempts to build Albanian capitalism. All these are explored through an imaginary journey in the chaos of a country which after a lethargic sleep of 50-years of isolation created by an unprecedented dictatorship makes its first efforts to emerge in the new world.

The events of the book remain open ended.

So, the book has an open ending, with the possibility to describe the continuation of Albanian long transition. This remains a fundamental goal and an irresistible temptation not only for the author but also for other authors, due to the diversity, originality and unusual Albanian transition.
